Strip Grid

A strip grid is a layout where each row is an LED strip, and the wiring returns from one row to the next to form a grid-like pattern.

This configuration is useful when you want to show a panel or wall made from repeated LED-strip rows rather than a single continuous chain.

Depending on your intended application, the overall dimensions of the grid can be selected so that:

X (number of LEDs per row) x Y (number of rows) <= 480 (Max number of LEDs)

You can either use full-length LED strips with existing input/output connectors, or cut the LED strip and use strip-to-strip connectors.

This arrangement is similar to how the LED grids are designed:

MAINFRAME will animate patterns along the grid following the arrow. Therefore to get some idea of how patterns might appear on your grid, take a look at demos using the LED grids. Audio Visual Dialogue is a good example of LED grid patterns.
