LEDs
MAINFRAME-B is compatible with individually addressable LEDs using the 5V WS2812b protocol (Neopixels).

MAINFRAME-B+ LED output.
MAINFRAME-B has a single output connection for LEDs, controlling one continuous LED chain. This chain can consist of multiple physical strips connected together, with a maximum limit of 480 individual LEDs in the chain.
MAINFRAME-B treats any form factor (strips, grids, etc.) as a single continuous sequence of LEDs, so to the device they are all functionally the same.
MAINFRAME-B also supports the 12V WS2815, which are more suitable for larger installations. They however require a 12V power setup, see: Scaling installations
LEDs can appear and are sold in many formats:
- Strips (various densities)
- Grids and matrices
- Rings (not sold on our site yet)
- Christmas light strings
- Custom LED installations
