Connecting 5-pin MIDI
The B+ model supports 5-pin MIDI via the 3.5mm TRS jack.
What You Need
- B+ controller
- 3.5mm TRS to 5-pin MIDI dongle (Type A)
- Standard 5-pin MIDI cable
Connect
- Plug the TRS dongle into the 3.5mm MIDI jack on MAINFRAME-B.
- Connect a 5-pin MIDI cable to the dongle.
- Connect the other end to your MIDI source.
- Provide USB power to the controller and external 5V power to the LEDs.
