FL Studio Setup

Basic MIDI Routing from FLStudio

  1. Connect MAINFRAME-B via USB (or via 5-pin MIDI-USB interface on B+).
  2. In Options → MIDI Settings, enable MAINFRAME-B as an output device.
  3. Create a MIDI-out capable track and route it to MAINFRAME-B.
  4. Set the MIDI channel to match the zone you want to control.
  5. Send MIDI notes and (optionally) CC automation to test parameters.

Common Checks

  • If you see no lights, try Animation Mode #1 (Full strip) to force LED output.
  • Make sure Global Config brightness and LED count are not zero.
  • Ensure the zone LED blinks on note-on.

For hardware connections, see Setup Hardware.
